Brenda tendered her resignation on the first week of Jan. If Brenda can leave this place, it means serious business. That shows how frustrated she is since Brenda is such a mild person. And Brenda is number one for this year!
Anyway, we had a farewell lunch for Brenda at Yan Ge today. Yan Ge is a Chinese restaurant with long history origins with good food. We had a personal room to ourselves and a table that was big enough to fit all 15 of us! The food and dim sum was really yummy, especially love the "Yuanyang Pork Ribs". The pork ribs were deep fried and one was smeared with salad dressing and the other one was coffee! Special isn't it? The lunch came out to $40 odd per person but it was well worth the money. Lots of good food with a good company makes the lunch extremely enjoyable!
But, the main thing is still Brenda. So glad that Brenda is stepping out of this place. Although she received a pay cut but at least she would be happier. I got to know Brenda better when we went to China last year. We stuck together throughout the trip and vented our frustrations to each other on you-know-who and she's a good shopping pal! Here you go Brenda! Jia you in your new place!
