Went to catch a movie with Joshua yesterday night. Initially, we wanted to watch either Pan's Labyrinth or The Last Dance but GV at Marina didn't have The Last Dance and Pan's Labyrinth was showing at 12am! We didn't want to spend two hours waiting for a movie when the other shops were closed so we decided to catch the sneak preview of Babel. Sounds like a good choice right? Sneak preview, movie starring Brad Pitt, nominated for awards and it was like the talked about show for awhile... But it was a mistake. The show lasted for two and a half hours and the movie line was intertwining one event with 3 storylines! Brad Pitt's part, the Japanese part and the Moroccan part! Screams!
Anyway, Babel was really Babel. Bringing a story across three countries with different languages and everything started all because of a rifle! Not that the whole movie was bad but it was a wrong choice to watch it at night especially when you are tired. Sigh...
