快乐天堂 滚石30 新加坡演唱会

1月22日，看了快乐天堂滚石30新加坡演唱会。这个演唱会绝对值回票价。17组的艺人，经典的歌曲，超棒！资深艺人出场的时候，我意外的发现几乎每一首歌我都会唱。是我老了，又或许是我长大了？总之，姜还是老的辣。

张震岳，伍佰，五曰天的阿信。他们一出场，观众就high了。

三个乐队-Free 9, China Blue和五曰天的吉他手和贝斯手齐聚一堂。

The third week of 2011

I've always felt that how I begin my first working day of the year would determine how the rest of my year in would be. The first day was hectic and as the first week went by, it went from hectic to chaotic. By the end of week, I was exhausted. Then the second week came and go...

And this week... It was by no means hectic. But it seriously gave me a wake up call that I should leave my organisation. That it does not pay to work here and all your contributions are for nothing.

They can just say, "it's an error".

Seriously, WTF?! It is an error everytime. They dun even have any other excuses. Worst of all, I think they fail their math. They can't even do simple calculation.

There was a period of time that I thought that nothing would faze me anymore, that I have seen enough shit. But this place has prove me wrong.

一shit还有一shit高。

I wonder what else is new.

The first week of 2011

This has been a hectic week!

Meetings and presentations were in full swing.

I hope this does not set the tone of my working days for the rest of the year...

On a lighter note, two of my friends gave birth!

Happy for them! Woohoo!

December 2010!

Woots! It's 2011!!!

Before I start posting about 2011, here's what I've been up to in last month of 2010:

Courtesy of Angie, my very creative colleague, she gave me a Christmas tree! And, this is my first Christmas tree! The pictures of the complete tree is in another camera though so here's the first cut of it without the star yet...


Then from 4 to 6 December, I was under room arrest! My good friend, Alvin and his crew used my house for filming and my two bedrooms were given an overhaul!




On 5 December, it was my first wedding anniversary! The husband got me the bouquet of flowers below!

Then, I headed to Batam from 11 to 12 December but the manicurist kinda messed up my nails so I went to get nail extensions done for a wedding which I had to attend on 18 December. The nails only lasted for two weeks because I was too clumsy...

Christmas eve! I cooked dinner for Joshua and myself before my Hui Juan and SKL came over for drinks...

Christmas presents! Look at my stash. Besides that big white bottle, all the rest are from my NICE colleagues. But this is only half of it. I still had half in the office!

电台DJ培训课程

终于上了新加坡传媒学院主办的点台DJ培训课程。

几年前，我就很想上这堂课，可是基于某些原因，我每次都会错过上课的机会。工作，没钱，出国都是我前三年的理由。今年，本来也是打算出国的，不过，我决定不要在错过机会了。出国是可以延期的啊！

结果，从11月29日至12月3日，我上了为期5天的培训课程。这5天过的非常充实，也认识了很多新朋友。在那大环境里，每个人都说标准的华语。乍听之下，真的很爽。5天的课程，学费是$500多块。起初，还觉得有点贵，不过现在觉得是非常值得的。毕竟，我学了新东西，新知识，认识了新朋友。这种机会，感觉上从大学毕业之后就少有了。这次的课程的确是获益良多。导师也是资深的电台DJ。他们的教学非常好。

总而言之，这是令我非常高兴的一次经验。

The Millenium Trilogy

I really really love the Stieg Larsson authored Millenium Trilogy. I was so crazy about it that I read all the books twice within weeks of each other. Now, that's a feat for me because I usually do not read books twice. The other time I did that was the Twilight saga. Yes, I like Edward. Anyway, back to the Millenium Trilogy. I like the story, the plot and everything is just so riveting! It gripped me the moment I started reading the first book - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. And, not to forget the movies too! So sad that I missed the screening of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest but I am going to try and get the DVD somehow or watch it somehow...

It's time!

Finally registered for a course that I've been wanting to go to since so many years ago. I won't say what course it is until the confirmation has been given. Oh well, some plans had to be changed for this course but if I don't do it now, when will I do it?! I've put it off for the past few years given the circumstances I am in. And right now, I don't want to do it anymore. It's time for me to realise some dreams.

Annoyed!

I desparately need a change of environment in my workplace.

Hmm... Maybe I should say that I can't wait for the day to leave?!

Whatever lah. The environment, decisions, attitudes are weighing me down. One moment, someone can talk about respect but the next moment, you see him showing disrespect. So, don't preach it and then don't practice it! It makes me extremely annoyed.
